Assign tables and start matches

Build the draw, review table assignments, and move matches into play from Live floor.

Before you begin

Configure the format, sheet, and tables in Settings; add entrants before generating a draw.

Workflow at a glanceIllustrated overview · labels match the guide below
  1. 1

    Queued

Both players ready; no table assigned

  2. 2

    Assigned

    Table set; waiting to start

  3. 3

    In progress

Start Match records the start time

  1. 1

Set the format and build the draw

In Settings, choose Bracket type / format and Bracket sheet size, then Save all setup changes. In Entrants / Seeding, choose Draw order and Generate from this draw. Review the resulting Bracket. If a draw already exists, do not regenerate just to start a match.

  2. 2

    Open Tables → Live floor

Review Now Playing, Report to Table, and On Deck. Use Auto-assign open tables to seat ready matches on available tables. A match can be ready but remain queued when no table is free.

  3. 3

    Review assignments

Check the players and table number on each Assigned card. For a specific table choice, use Setup & tools → Manual table assignments (optional).

  4. 4

Start one match or the planned group

Use Start Match on a table card, or Start all planned for the assigned group. Confirm the match moves to In progress and Now Playing and shows a start time.

  5. 5

    Call players separately

Table assignment and starting are separate from notifications. Use the available notification controls deliberately when messaging is enabled, or call players manually.

What to check afterward

Started matches show In progress. Assigned matches are still waiting to begin; queued matches still need a table.

A locked draw blocks rebuilding. Regeneration with OVERRIDE replaces the draw, results, and table assignments. Save a backup before an intentional rebuild.
